Now in stock, 2010 sees the launch of two new rims from NoTubes - the Alpine (replacing the Olympic), and the ZTR Crest (replacing the 355). Cosmetically similar to the rims they replace, the Alpine and Crest both feature lighter weights, improved tubeless performance with the next-generation Bead Socket, and wider internal dimensions.

Currently the Alpine is only available in black 26", while the Crest comes in black or white, 26" or 29er versions with the 29er weighing in at a claimed 370g - we'll confirm it when the first lot arrive.

We've managed to get our hands on the last few copies of issue 3 of The Ride Journal, but be quick because these really will be the last ones available.

And before you ask - no, we don't have any of issue 1 or 2.

The Podium MMX rim is the brand new, ultra-lightweight XC rim from NoTubes. Weighing in at under 290g, the Podium is a development of the Race 7000 rim and shares many of its features along with a few improvements and a lower price tag.

It's an all-out performance rim with a recommended rider weight limit of 170lb (77kg) and a maximum pressure of 33psi. Currently the Podium is only available as part of a wheel build and we have two 2 stock options, on American Classic hubs (£588.88) or NoTubes ZTR hubs (£444.91). Alternatively if you're after a different build, you can spec the wheels of your choice on our custom wheelbuilder.

NoTubes' new ZTR hubs have just arrived. Fitted with great quality, smooth-running bearings and using forged shells, they run well and weigh just 251g for the rear and from 162g for the front. Not only that but they're great value at just £170 per pair. Click here for more info.

We've built a number of stock wheelsets around the ZTR hubs in the most popular rim and spoke options, or they can be specced to your own wishes in our custom wheelbuilder. Wheelset weights start from 1270g with the new Podium MMX rims priced at £444.91.
