Now we are more settled in our new premises we've been trying to improve and extend our wheel range. Custom builds are being turned around in a couple of days (stock allowing), and we have more instock wheels than ever.

On the subject of wheel builds, we've introduced an instock XT hub build on the ZTR Alpine rims, so now stock builds start from £254. If this doesn’t suit, don't forget you can spec your own wheels on the custom wheel builder

Our repairs and rebuild pages have been updated with clearer pricing on servicing and turnaround time. If your bearings are feeling a bit rough or your rim is on its last legs, then its time to have them looked at. As usual this service is only available for wheel sets we've built at Just Riding Along.

We've ended up with way too many 2.35 kevlar High Rollers so they've been reduced from £34.99 to £22. We also dug around in the warehouse and found a few more bargains:

The Ardents are multiplying. Just in are some Ardent 2.25 LUST (tubeless), along with some Ardent 2.4 29er EXO (toughened sidewall), and a surprise new arrival, the Ardent 2.4 wire bead single ply EXO.

As well as all the Ardents we now have Aspen eXCeption and Kevlar 29er tyres back in stock.

We've just got stock of the new Maxxis tyres with the Exo sidewalls, Maxxis say "this is an extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain bike tyres. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible."

There is a small range of treads and sizes in stock, Ardents in 2.25 & 2.4, Ignitors in 2.35 and 29er 2.1 width and a Minion Front 2.5 60a Maxxpro. They are selling for £35.99 each and will all soon be making an appearance in our under 1kg tyre list on the blog.

The Alpha 340 road rims are now in the custom wheel builder for more build options. Choose from any of our current range of hubs, or we'll be adding a load of road-specific options over the next few days, including Shimano Dura Ace, Ultegra and others.

The big news for us this month is the first look at NoTubes' venture into the world of road rims, the Alpha 340. Weighing in at just 350g, it's designed to be run with road tubeless specific tyres such as the Hutchinson Atom and Intensive. It'll also work fine with inner tubes / standard tyres, and we'll be testing it for tubeless cyclocross use too. Stock of these rims is extremely limited at the moment but we have a few pairs on American Classic hubs ready to go. There are a load more photos here on our blog.
